2. Fill with water until your cup floats freely.

3. Loosely place the lid on top—do not seal tightly (steam must escape).

4. Microwave on medium power for 3–5 minutes, or until the water boils.

5. Let the cup cool before removing. Handle with care—it will be hot!

Option 2: Cold-Water Disinfection with Milton Mini Tabs
